Placenta Forest

Planting your child's placenta is a special way to honour your child’s beginnings by returning their placenta to the earth—as an act of reconnection and gratitude to Mother Earth. This meaningful practice spans many cultures, each with its own way of acknowledging the life-giving role of the placenta.

Our offering is to design a personalised 20sqm hexagonal forest of nourishment that grows in harmony with the way this tradition lives in your family, and the meaning it holds for you.

What is a
Tree Born forest?

Inspired by the patterns of bees, each
Tree Born forest begins as a 20m² hexagon-shaped forest glade. At its heart stands a central, chosen tree, encircled by a winding path and surrounded by layers of food-producing and support plants.
Why hexagons?
They create a cozy, nest-like space that’s easy to manage and protect from both wild and domestic animals. Plus, like a honeycomb, they fit together seamlessly—making it easy to add forests for new family members.
