We’re Frida and Sean — partners in life and in this offering. As parents, we believe the resilience of our future depends on the relationships our children form with the natural world from their earliest days — their sense of belonging to the earth, as part of her.

Tree Born is an extension of how we live: tending food forests, raising our son close to the land, and creating spaces where families and communities can do the same.

What is a
Tree Born forest?

Inspired by the patterns of bees, each
Tree Born forest begins as a 20m² hexagon-shaped forest glade. At its heart stands a central, chosen tree, encircled by a winding path and surrounded by layers of food-producing and support plants.
Why hexagons?
They create cozy, nest-like spaces that are easy to care for and protect. They can stand alone as abundant sanctuaries, or be added to— like honeycomb— to include new family members, students, community groups.
